Here's to a savory New Year
Hubby's fam came over for New Year's Day. Menu included London Broil, creamed spinach, and my new obsession, pan-fried brussel sprouts and sausage.
2008 can only be described as a year of change. I transitioned from sassy realtor to motivated grad student. I've begun a foray into commercial real estate with some exciting acquisitions work on the horizon. I went from fiancee to wife and while I'm not changing my name legally, I'm happy to be TK.
Outside of myself there's been an overwhelming amount of change, in the economy, politics, you've heard this all before. I understand the changes won't be immediate, but our new president gives me a feeling in my chest that I can't quite describe. I feel secure in the capable hands of a conscientious leader who will lead America to be the best that we can be. I feel patriotism- I've never before felt, and I feel safe.
